My Tea House Talk

MY Teahouse was established in 2007 and introduces Chinese tea as a way of slowing down, inviting people to experience how different teas suit different seasons, weather and everyday moments. This talk offers an accessible introduction to Chinese tea, focusing on tasting, atmosphere and simple daily rituals rather than technical or specialist knowledge.

Raymond will also share how tea can support balance and wellbeing, both physically and mentally. Beyond the tea itself, he will speak about the importance of the tea space — not only what we drink, but the environment we are in. In recent years, he has gradually integrated hand-painted and embroidered silk artworks into the tea space, using elements such as wall pieces and folding screens to enhance the atmosphere, allowing tea to nourish the body while bringing a sense of calm and quiet to the mind.
