5 warning signs to look out for
Scams can appear by email, text, phone call or online. They may look real, sound urgent and even use Al-generated images or voices.
It creates urgency
Messages that pressure you to act immediately are a red flag. Pause before paying, clicking or replying.
The link or sender looks suspicious
Check email addresses, phone numbers and web links carefully. A genuine-looking message can still be fake
It asks for personal information
Never share passwords, bank details or one-time security codes after unexpected contact.
It seems familiar, but something feels off
